Finance your app with zero interest, over 18 months
A large app doesn't have to be paid for all at once. On projects from $35,000, you can finance the development directly with us, with no interest: you put 25% down, the rest is billed automatically, month by month, over 18 months — and once the balance is paid off, the app is 100% yours.
The model, in plain terms
No smoke and no fine print: this is how the financing works, exactly as it is signed in the contract.
- You pay exactly your project's price: not one dollar more for financing
- A minimum down payment of 25% to start development
- Up to 18 months, never more: a larger down payment lowers the monthly amount, and you can pay early with no penalty
- Once the last payment is made, the app and its accounts transfer 100% into your name
Four simple rules, no fine print
The whole financing comes down to these four rules. They are the same ones we sign in the contract: what you read here is what you sign there.
Zero interest
The total financed is exactly your project's quoted price. There are no financing charges, no interest, and no hidden fees.
25% down
The project starts with a down payment of 25%. You can put more down if you like: your monthly payment drops, and the rest is spread over up to 18 payments.
Up to 18 months
It's 18 monthly payments at most: the term never extends beyond that. Your monthly payment is set in the contract when you sign and can't be changed on your own: changing it would take a refinancing agreed by both parties. What you can do whenever you like is pay larger amounts or pay off the full balance, with no penalty: that early payment doesn't change your monthly amount — it shortens your term.
Automatic billing
Payments are charged automatically through Stripe to the card you register. You don't have to remember to pay each month, and nobody has to chase payments.
Which projects can be financed?
The financing — up to 18 months — applies to the larger app projects. Smaller projects are paid in phases, as explained below.
Yes: projects from $35,000
- Pro tier (from $35,000)
- Premium tier (from $60,000)
- Motor Club app (basic club from $35,000; full platform $50,000–$60,000 or more)
- Uber-like or marketplace apps and custom platforms of similar scope
Under $35,000: paid in phases
The Management App (from $4,999) and the Essential App (from $15,000) are not financed: they are paid in phases while the app is being built. How phased payments work →
Is your project under $35,000? It's paid in phases
Not every project needs financing. If your app costs less than $35,000 — the Management App (from $4,999) or the Essential tier (from $15,000) — it's paid with the phase schedule we use across CafecitoWeb:
50% to start
The deposit confirms your project, and development of your app starts with it.
25% when you approve the design
When you approve your app's design, you pay the second phase and we keep building on what was approved.
25% before launch
The last phase is paid before publishing in the stores and delivering your finished app.
The difference from financing is simple: here you pay while your app is being built, against real progress, and you finish paying when you receive it. There are no monthly payments after delivery and no 18-month debt: once the last phase is paid, the app is fully yours, with no balance left.
How the life of a financed project runs
From the first call to the full transfer, this is what happens — in this order.
Call and quote
We talk about your project on a free call or video call and quote it by scope. If your project is $35,000 or more, we present the financing plan with the exact numbers: down payment, monthly payment, and total.
Contract and 25% down
We sign the contract with the full plan in writing — amount, down payment, payments, term, and conditions — and you pay the initial 25% (or more, if you prefer a smaller monthly payment). Everything is signed from day one.
Development and publishing
We build your app in phases and publish it on the App Store and Google Play. While the financing lasts, the app runs on the infrastructure we manage: servers, backend, and the project's operating accounts.
18 automatic payments
Each month, Stripe charges the payment to the card you registered. No manual transfers, no awkward reminders, and no due dates for you to keep track of.
Full transfer
Once the last payment is made, we complete the full transfer: the app, its code, and all of its accounts are 100% in your name. From that moment on, the project is entirely yours.
Financing examples, with the full math
Here is how the numbers land on three typical projects — plus a fourth example with a larger down payment, so you can see how the monthly amount drops with a larger down payment.
| Project price | Down payment | 18 monthly payments of | Total you pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| $35,000 | $8,750 (25%) | $1,458.33 | $35,000 — zero interest |
| $50,000 | $12,500 (25%) | $2,083.33 | $50,000 — zero interest |
| $60,000 | $15,000 (25%) | $2,500 | $60,000 — zero interest |
| $60,000 with a larger down payment | $24,000 (40%) | $2,000 | $60,000 — zero interest |
The math is the same for any project from $35,000: 25% down (or more, if you like) and the rest split into 18. Because of rounding to the cent, the final payment may adjust a few cents up or down: the total you pay is always exactly your project's price, not a dollar more.
And if a monthly charge doesn't go through?
We would rather explain it up front, here and in the contract, than have you find out later. If a payment doesn't go through, this is what happens:
- First, a notice. We let you know the charge couldn't be completed so you can fix it — sometimes it is just an expired or replaced card.
- A grace period. You get the grace period set in the contract to bring the payment up to date with nothing further happening.
- If it isn't regularized, the service is suspended. The app stops running on our infrastructure until the plan is reactivated. That is why the app runs on our servers during the financing.
- Amounts already paid are not refunded, just as the contract sets out for any project.
None of this is a last-minute surprise: the full plan, including these very points, is signed with you before development begins.
Frequently asked questions about the financing
Do you charge interest for financing the app?
No. The financing is interest-free: you pay exactly your project's quoted price, split between the 25% down payment and 18 monthly payments. Financing doesn't cost you a single dollar more than paying for the project in full.
Can I put down more than 25%?
Yes. The 25% is the minimum to get started. If you put more down, your monthly payment goes down. The term has a maximum of 18 months and never extends; the signed monthly payment can't be changed on your own either — changing it would take a refinancing agreed by both parties. For example, on a $60,000 project with 40% down ($24,000), the monthly payment drops to $2,000.
Can I pay off my app before the 18 months are up?
Yes, at any time and with no penalty: you can pay more than your monthly amount or pay off the full balance whenever you like. Paying extra doesn't modify the signed monthly payment (that can only be done through a refinancing agreed by both parties); what it does is shorten your term. And the moment the balance hits zero, we complete the full transfer of the app into your name.
Which apps qualify for financing?
App projects from $35,000: the Pro tier, the Premium tier, the Motor Club app, Uber-like or marketplace apps, and custom platforms of similar scope. Projects under $35,000 are not financed over 18 months: they are paid in phases (50/25/25) during production.
How do I pay for an app under $35,000?
In phases, with the 50/25/25 schedule: 50% to start, 25% when you approve the design, and 25% before launch. You pay while the app is being built, against real progress, and once the last phase is paid, the app is fully yours: no monthly payments after delivery and no 18-month financing.
When is the app fully mine?
Once the balance is paid off. When you make the final payment, we complete the full transfer: the app, the code, and the accounts are 100% in your name. While the financing lasts, the app runs on the infrastructure (servers and backend) that we manage.
Is maintenance included in the financing?
No. The financing covers the development of the app. App maintenance plans (from $499 to $999 a month) are contracted separately, as with any project, and cover updates, compatibility with new iOS and Android versions, monitoring, and fixes.
What happens if a monthly charge doesn't go through?
First you get a notice and the grace period set in the contract to bring the payment up to date. If the payment isn't regularized, the service is suspended — the app stops running on our infrastructure — until it is reactivated, as set out in the signed contract. Amounts already paid are not refunded.
